Describe the problem

When using a custom update channel/version with automatic updates enabled, the NetBird client still displays the blue update arrow in the UI even though the client is already fully up to date with the custom version. This will result in people upgrading to a version higher than the one we wish to use.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Configure NetBird to use a custom update channel/version.
  • Allow the client to update to a custom version with an automatic update (that isn't the latest).
  • Observe that the blue update arrow remains visible despite being fully up to date.

Expected behavior

The blue update arrow should not appear when automatic updates are enabled and the client is already on the latest version provided by the configured custom update source. The UI should reflect that the installation is current.

Are you using NetBird Cloud
