Describe the problem

I run netbird on a ubiquity ERL-3 and can't upgrade past 0.51.2.
0.52 and any further build gives:

Error: call service set config method: rpc error: code = Unimplemented desc = unknown method SetConfig for service daemon.DaemonService

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to https://github.com/netbirdio/netbird/releases/tag/v0.52.0
  2. get the URL for netbird_0.52.0_linux_mipsle_hardfloat.tar.gz , decompress it, upload it to the edgerouter
  3. run /config/netbird up
  4. See error

Expected behavior

I would expect it to work, like previous builds did or the changelog to explain what new dependency has been introduced.

Are you using NetBird Cloud?

I use NetBird Cloud.

NetBird version

0.51.2 works, 0.52 or more recent does not

Is any other VPN software installed?

Not relevant

  • Reviewed client troubleshooting (if applicable)
  • Checked for newer NetBird versions
  • Searched for similar issues on GitHub (including closed ones)
  • Restarted the NetBird client
  • Disabled other VPN software
  • Checked firewall settings
