Describe the problem

The Windows client loses the connection to the service (regardless of NetBird Cloud or self-hosted) every 5-15 minutes. After the client hast lost the connection it is being re-established again successfully.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start NetBird client
  2. Connect to the service
  3. Wait for the notification "Connection to service list"

Expected behavior

I expect, that the client doesn't lose the connection to the service regularly.

Are you using NetBird Cloud?

I've tried this with NetBird Cloud and self-hosted. The problem exists on both.

NetBird version

0.69.0

Is any other VPN software installed?

No other VPN software is installed.

FYI I am seeing a similar thing.
There was a Windows update today that installed and after that the connection connects and disconnects constantly.
I had to remove Netbird because it was disruptive, you can see the WT0 adapter installing and uninstalling...
Also, the version I tried was 0.69 amd 0.70 both had the same problem.

I have a similar issue on Windows 11 for ARM. What helped was Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Network -> Disable "Network Monitor Restarts NetBird when the network changes". On another regular windows 11 machine i didn't have this issue. The Windows on ARM has latest Updates. The the other machine i have no access right now. Maybe that helps to narrow it down.

I can also confirm this happens on windows 11, I have multiple machines that lose complete connection for around 5 minutes.
This is what I found in the logs.
