FreeBSD ports merged the update on 2026-04-15:
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=294523

However opnsense/ports has not synced this change yet.

Could someone from the NetBird team nudge the OPNsense maintainers or submit a PR to:
https://github.com/opnsense/ports/tree/master/security/netbird

OPNsense users are stuck behind on the official plugin.

Hi, and again, we are on 0.70.x and 0.72.x is the current version, the important thing here is, that 0.71.x brought IPv6 routing which we were really waiting for

It's 0.72.2 according to the sources attached in this issue, you should be able to upgrade.
