The Windows installer binary is not signed. So not sure if its on purpose or hacked. Makes feel insecure to install when till today it was signed.

It also seems like the auto-updater does not check the signature as my client got blocked by endpoint security after already updated.

Hi @pawanvs & @ObrellusRex ! This was reported as an incident here, and the package has been re-released, so this should be fixed now. Can you confirm?

Is this related in any way to the newest reporting where the WireGuard developer has lost access to their Microsoft Developer Account? Seems like a big conicidence that this happend almost at the same time as the reporting went out.

Should be unrelated & coincidence, but our teams are checking the root cause. I'll close this issue as solved for now.
