Original Pull Request: https://github.com/netbirdio/netbird/pull/3623

State: closed
Merged: Yes

Describe your changes

This change enables site2site traffic flow support in kernel mode.

Packets in and out of the NetBird interface mark the associated connection with the respective fwmark (per direction).
This is then used to filter events from the conntrack socket and determine the conn direction.

Checklist

  • Is it a bug fix
  • Is a typo/documentation fix
  • Is a feature enhancement
  • It is a refactor
  • Created tests that fail without the change (if possible)
  • Extended the README / documentation, if necessary
