What I mean by this is that I haven't refreshed my device's online status for a long time on the netbird dashboard after quitting the netbird app on my phone.

Quitting the Netbird app on the phone without disconnecting will leave the phone still connected to the network. The service is a foreground type service so connection will still be active, and you can check its status on the notification bar
