I'm currently considering installing NetBird exit nodes on multiple of our locations to give VNC access to devices. The thing is most of these locations have the same network IPs and I don't want users to have access to the admin panel so they could toggle the routes on/off depending on which one they want to access. This is currently possible with the desktop apps in the form of the NetBird Routes page which allows users to toggle routes based on their needs but is not available on the netbird mobile apps.

What would solve my problem is to have the same feature on the mobile apps, where users could simply with a checklist/togglelist enable and disable network routes.

We're currently considering using much more expensive dedicated VPN devices, simply because switching between them is made easier with their apps.

Hi @VignRaph
On iOS client, you are able to enable/disable routes, just slide the bottom tab up, and you'll have two sections,Peers and Routes. (where it says "x of n Peers connected")

Unfortunately that possibility is still not present on the Android client.

Ahh, so it's only because I'm on Android that I could not find what I need,
Guess I'll have to wait for parity between IOS/Android to deploy that solution to our users

although there is still not a route selection, can you test the new Android release @VignRaph ?

@mgarces The android app works a lot better now, no more animations freezing when opening or closing the info tabs, no more failed logins because of changing to another app(password manager) to get my password.
For info it currently says I'm running version 0.0.27 of the app and I'm on android 15

Hello @nazarewk,

Yes, this problem still exists since the feature has not yet been added to the android version of the app!

I just bumped into this one. Would be cool to see that Network selection feature on the Android version. As I understand, by default it enables all of the Networks that are configured for the mobile Peer, right?

Any updates on this? This would be so useful for toggling 'full exit node' functionality for untrusted networks vs partial route mode for just accessing home services
