Context-Menu of "Settings" is fixed with 057.1 on Linux Mint 22.2.
But "About" and "default"-Menu still don't work.

Have the same isssue - Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon. Seems to have been going on for a while and they seem uninterested in fixing the upstream fyne-io/fyne#4843 as mentioned above

strange, i was on rc6 when i posted the message above, i also now just upgraded to the 0.75.0 release and also still working. Will be interested to see if it fixes it for others.

can you post more info on version of mint you are running etc and maybe the output from this?
apt list --installed | egrep "netbird|libwebkitgtk-6.0-4"

from memory i had to install that version of libwebkitgtk otherwise i was getting errors

Output of apt:

libwebkitgtk-6.0-4/noble-updates,noble-security,now 2.52.3-0ubuntu0.24.04.1 amd64 [installiert]
netbird-ui/stable,now 0.75.0 amd64 [installiert]
netbird/stable,now 0.75.0 amd64 [installiert]

I'm on Mint 22.3.

3 starts of UI resulted in 3 different behaviours:

  1. "default"-context was broken
  2. both-context-menu's where working, fine
  3. "Hilfe & Support" was broken

@qay21 commented on GitHub (Jul 29, 2026):

On Debian/KDE after update, Netbird service was running fine and CLI was OK, but the tray menu and graphical components were not accessible. A single log line appears when trying to start the UI :

netbird-ui: error while loading shared libraries: libwebkitgtk-6.0.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Manually installing libwebkitgtk-6.0-4 from Debian stable repo fixed the issue, the new client is now starting properly (quite a nice upgrade, by the way !).

EDIT : this is actually mentionned in the install doc : https://docs.netbird.io/get-started/install/linux#desktop-app-dependencies. Only problem is when upgrading an existing install, one would probably not check the doc each time.
