Summary

We are building an integration with Huntress EDR that allows administrators to connect their Huntress accounts with NetBird. This will provide a stronger link between endpoint security and secure remote access.

Details

With this feature, administrators will be able to cross-check peers in NetBird against machines registered in Huntress. This ensures that only devices recognized by the organization and compliant with endpoint security policies are granted access.

What this enables

  • Compliance checks: Verify that peers correspond to devices managed in Huntress and validate their status before allowing them to connect to your network.
  • Ownership validation: Confirm that only organization-owned machines are connecting.

Why this matters

By integrating with Huntress, NetBird strengthens its zero-trust posture. Administrators can confidently enforce access based on endpoint compliance and ownership, reducing the risk of unauthorized or unmanaged devices joining the network.

We’ll update this issue as development progresses. Feedback is welcome!
