Please add a codeberg or gitlab mirror. Github is becoming a ai site.
@pixiekat commented on GitHub (Aug 12, 2025):
Or, preferably, change the Github repo into a mirror of the Codeberg repo :)
@Jammintk commented on GitHub (Aug 12, 2025):
There's also public Gitea instances out there, which would be comparable to Codeberg IMO. Gitlab feels like a bandaid that wouldn't be a permanent solution
@laylavish commented on GitHub (Sep 3, 2025):
@weird-budy been busy, but i'll take a look at it.

In personal experience, the technical process of migrating to Codeberg is easier than I'd thought (I followed Erat's guide), since all the Issues and PRs migrate over, too. I imagine the hard part is helping active GitHub users tag along with minimal friction, since there's a lack of Foregjo-GitHub interoperability.
Maybe mirroring from GitHub to Codeberg* for 60 days or so before flipping the mirror from Codeberg* to GitHub could work, along with clear timeline indication in the readme?
(* or a good public Gitea instance)
