Hi folks, unsure if this has been reported but as of 10/29/2025 uBlock Origin is no longer available in the Chrome extension store, citing it 'doesn't follow Chrome's extension best practices'.
If a way to install the extension manually without the use of the Chrome store is possible, updated instructions on how would be much appreciated!

You used to be able to muck around with enterprise policies to get Chrome to give you the ability to install MV2 extensions, but that was only until June if I remember right. There are other Chromium-based browsers out there with the ability to install MV2 extensions still (apparently Microsoft Edge supports this, for example), and theres always Firefox (which was always better supported by uBlock Origin). While I cannot speak on behalf of the maintainers of this blocklist, I would say that providing instructions on this would be beyond the scope of a blocklist, especially given uBlock Origin already has documentation on this and any workarounds are likely to be closed by Google as they try harder and harder to stop people blocking ads on YouTube (jokes on them, the day they kill adblockers for good is the day I stop watching YouTube). In the end, you are pretty much going to be required to install a different browser.
