Is there a rule that governs this list? Seems quite random. Some are AI generated images, some are profiles, but some are a single amazon product. Not sure if hiding mouse pads from amazon is what people expected of this. A clear scope might be needed. May I suggest even a split. I'd be interested in text generated fake sites.
Why is Shadiversity, a well-known youtuber, on the list and twice? That doesn't seem like an error. Several sources seem to suggest that he is politically divergent from the quite clear header of this text file. Is this an error?
Related to 2.) do you just block someone's linked in? I know he works with AI, but what is the line between filtering out AI generated slop and just basically retaliating? Is he not real?
Many links are dead. Is there a cull protocol? Almost no ko-fi links are still up, for example.
Many sites have alt domains, like manuals.plus and manualsplus.plus and only one is listed. Is the submitter responsible for alts, are maintainers?
I can't find (and I am quite open to being wrong here) any of the sites that I actually wanted protection from. Like, for example, "psichologyanswers.com" (note the spelling) that appear to be entirely generated. Here's an example: https://psichologyanswers.com/library/lecture/read/277673-is-it-no-tears-or-no-tears suggesting you test out shampoo on a skin patch before washing your whole baby in case the color darkens.

Are these sites in-scope, and if so, just open issues for each?

Hi! First, thanks for the criticism. Criticism is what helps people improve. I'm not adverse to it.

There isn't a set "rule" for this list. The reason why it seems random is because these sites were found by naturally searching through the web through search engines like Google or DuckDuckGo. By definition it would seem random because search engines are indeed, random. The idea is to block anything that has AI generated imagery, including Amazon products like those god awful AI drawing books. This repo is mainly for sites hosting AI generated imagery instead of text generated sites. Reason being is that these text generated sites often have authentic imagery on their site, so it makes it really hard to decide to just banish it away since it technically interferes with the goal of this repo (unless it's a site that has absolutely no images on it or has entirely AI gen'd images on it of course). That's why in the future I want to make a separate list specifically for these AI text-gen sites so that I don't have to worry about authentic images being removed.
Shadiversity was/is an AI image creator. It is extremely well known; so much so that he made an entire "love letter to AI art" on his main channel. This wasn't an error (though it doesn't really matter because this list doesn't block any of his videos, even the video thumbnails on Search. It just blocks the channel link from Search, which I'll be honest doesn't even do that much. BlockTube will be used in the future to block these AI videos but since it doesn't seem like Shadiversity will continue to upload more AI content on his main channel, it won't be blocked entirely, just the specific AI videos will be. Though his second channel will be blocked entirely because that literally focuses on AI.)
I'm going to be completely honest here. I completely forgot that I blocked Justin's LinkedIn. He's the founder of Civitai, the biggest site for sharing AI models/imagery. I do think it was a little bit out-of-left-field, especially since that's the only LinkedIn profile in the entire list. He did create some articles on linkedin that have AI generated imagery, but the url's don't even match with the one in the list. Even then, it doesn't warrant blocking his entire profile anyways. It will be removed.
Just because links are dead doesn't mean the images aren't still cached in Google/Bing's servers.
It would be good if submitters submitted alts, but I wouldn't fault them for that. It's just "whatever you find at the time."
The purpose of this repo like how I said before is mainly for AI generated imagery. If you don't want protection from that or care for that, then there is little that this repo will offer you. It seems like what you want is a text-gen related list instead of an AI imagery list. That is something that I will make (after I'm done with my other AI blocklist for Blocktube, of course). I've checked out that site you've linked and yeah, it's straight garbage. There's some links on this website that are older, like from 2021, but even still this site is just an seo content farm with no images. It'll be on the list too. If you find sites like these where it's clear that it's just text-gen seo farm garbage with no images on it or has AI gen'd images, then it's fine to include in the list.
