Tried two times to install a fresh version of the Immich server (after a faulty update run that rendered the whole container useless), both with and without the OpenVINO dependencies selected. The error output below is the one where I opted in as I thought that might be the cause of the issue.

your network has several issues:

  • api.github.com is not reachable (could not resolve host)
  • pgp from postgresql is not reachable
  • raw.githubusercontent.com is not reachable

You can enter the broken lxc with pct enter LXID, and then you can try to import f.e. PostgreSQL Repo(gpg) for more Output.

I do have AdBlock running. However, this server is not using it as its DNS server. I do not have IPv6 enabled on my network, nor the LXC.

I tried again just now, and it works without errors when installing the OpenVINO ML stuff.. So that's strange, but nice.

Thank you for your time and I apologize if I was a bit quick with submitting an issue. I just thought I might help if this was a new problem as it was pretty consistantly failing here. This issue can probably be closed then.
