Script fails during MySQL 8.0 installation. The MySQL repository doesn't have a Release file for Debian Trixie (testing), causing the installation to abort.

Run the managemydamnlife script with default settings
Auto - Debian 13 (Trixie) as the OS
Script fails during MySQL setup phase

It's possible that MySQL's official repository doesn't yet support Debian Trixie. The script may need to either use MariaDB as an alternative or install MySQL from Debian's native repositories for Trixie compatibility.

Perhaps it didn't belong to this, but two days ago I created a new LXC and I see that it's still based on Debian 12 "Bookworm". So I decided to upgrade before doing anything else.
The Upgrade was successful but later, I had some issues with creating certificates.
DnsMulti didn't work as expected. According to the error message it wasn't installed.
But trying to install also didn't work because of python setuptools related errors.
So I am stuck on Debian 12 at the moment.

I'm having the same Issue with just trying to create a MySQL LXC. Looks like the problem is on mysql.com side, as there's no directory for trixie under dist there "http://repo.mysql.com/apt/debian/dists/".
So, I guess they don't officially support Debian 13 yet.

Workaround is to make a copy of the script found here https://raw.githubusercontent.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVE/main/ct/managemydamnlife.sh
and place it on your Proxmox server somewhere.
I use 'nano ./.sh'

but update var_version="${var_version:-13}" to be var_version="${var_version:-12}" instead

Write out/save and exit.
use 'sudo chmod +x ./.sh'
and then run the script locally './.sh'

That should let you create your LXC with the bookworm release until MySQL is compatible for Trixie.
It worked for my MySQL LXC challenges.
