When creating a new LXC container using the script
IPv6 option of Disabled is not followed.

When LXC comes up it has a dynamic IPv6 address in the PVE webUI

This may be a new, Proxmox issue, upstream.

Yeah static, I don't think it's an issue with the create script. Think the issue lies with PVE.

echo "net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1" >>/etc/sysctl.conf
sysctl -p
reboot now

that worked for me, strange that proxmox "enable" ipv6 if its "none"

I think that's just a link local address. There really isn't a 'none' option in the gui of the containers--you can set to 'static' and leave blank.
Your commands work for me to disable the link local IP.

May I suggest adding this to a /etct/sysctl.d/ipv6_disable.conf, as Debian 13 has deprecated the use of /etc/sysctl.conf
It would make future switches back to an IPv6 setup more fluid.

If you want to make this change on existing containers.
