. hushlogin is not working anymore #385

I can not shutup the motd with touch .hushlogin . rm /etc/motd && touch /etc/motd does not work anymore..
Please reinstate this feature or give the possibility to remove the login messages.

I noted this with the Beszel LXC script.

Debian 12

🔄 Steps to reproduce the issue.

touch .hushlogin && rm /etc/motd && touch /etc/motd

❌ Paste the full error output (if available).

the motd message did not disappear after this commands, it is still nagging me.

There you see the changes and you can change whatever you want. Its not an Issue. Its developed from the Community
