Error during installation of FFMPEG

  • Advanced Settings

🖥️ Which Linux distribution are you using?

Debian 12

🔄 Steps to reproduce the issue.

  1. Run script with default or advanced settings
  2. During installation get error [ERROR] in line 24: exit code 0: while executing command wget -q https://www.deb-multimedia.org/pool/main/d/deb-multimedia-keyring/deb-multimedia-keyring_2016.8.1_all.deb

Link to deb file opens 404 page. Looks like they changed link just recently. Quote from blog post:

19/03/2025 :
Buster has been moved to archive.deb-multimedia.org.

So looks like correct link now https://archive.deb-multimedia.org/pool/main/d/deb-multimedia-keyring/deb-multimedia-keyring_2016.8.1_all.deb
Some other packages from deb-multimedia.org can have similar issue

fixed with new ffmpeg (7.0). ErsatzTV will show a notice that it wants the 6.1, but the 7.0 ran smoothly in my test.
