I'm on proxmox 8.4.1 and after running Proxmox VE Post Install script I still get nagged on login.

🔄 Steps to reproduce the issue.

  1. Install proxmox 8.4.1 iso
  2. Run the script
  3. Login and observe the nag.

❌ Paste the full error output (if available).

No errors are returned by the script.

Oke I just done that, wiped the browser cache and rebooted Proxmox node.

However I still get:

@MickLesk Strange, maybe I have some specific iso that's giving problems? I'm installing bear metal on a NUC. I'm using proxmix-ve_8.4-1.ISO. Is there any information I can get you for better debugging? Did you use the latest version of proxmox?

Have downloaded the current ISO File.

Do an screenshot of full procedure. Answer as Test all yes, after this clear Cache or reboot or try another Browser

I just tried the script after having to reinstall from ISO (proxmox-ve_8.4-1.iso). The script ran, but failed to remove the nag window on login. I logged in using an incognito tab and had no pop up. I hard cleared cache in my browser and signed in again to find the nag pop up was gone.

This resolved it for me as I had the same issue.

Just to quickly add, in case anyone comes across this with PVE 8.4.5, it appears that deleting /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/no-nag-script and rerunning the post-pve-install helper script does not remove the subscription nag from PVE 8.4.5. When I get a chance, assuming someone doesn't get to it before I do, I'll get a new issue opened.

Delete Branch "%!s()"
