Hello,

We are currently using Netbird on our IoT devices, and after running it for half a month, we noticed that it consumed 13GB of traffic. Since the traffic cost for IoT SIM cards is quite high, this level of consumption is a concern for us. Our Netbird server is connected to approximately 100 devices, with around 40+ of them being active. We are unsure how to reduce this traffic usage and would appreciate any guidance or suggestions to optimize it.

Here are the version details:

Server-side:

coturn: 4.6.2
signal: 0.28.6
Client-side:

Daemon version: 0.34.1
CLI version: 0.34.1

Could you please help us identify potential causes of this high traffic usage or recommend ways to minimize it? Thank you!

I've noticed there is #3427 about data-constrained environments, let's continue the discussion there.

In short about this specific issue: I had a feedback from developer saying that high data usage can happen when there are a lot of offline peers in the network, but I still need to gather more details and will post to the other thread.
