Describe the problem

I installed netbird on my ubuntu server in my office.
Now I tried to connect from my home a smb-share on that server.
The connection under Windows is not possible. Ping the server is working.
Than I stopped netbird with netbird down and connected the office and home
via a wireguard-connection in my fritzbox router.
Than the connection to the smb-share is possible.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install netbird on a linux-server with smb-shares
  2. Connect to a smb-share from a window PC
  3. Network connection is not possible

Expected behavior

I expect it to work like with the normal wireguard-connection

On the netbird-connection I get the following message from the Windows-Network-Diagnosis:

The connection is not accepted by the remote device or the resource, respectively. Determined Determined 
 
The device or resource (192.168.XXX.2) is not set up to accept connections to port “File and Printer Sharing (SMB)”. 
Contact Network Administrator Completed 
 
The desired computer or device is available but does not support the desired operation. This may be due to a configuration issue or limitation of the device

setting netbird down, I can set up the network drive.

Now it's working.
The firewall on the ubuntu-server was blocking traffic from the netbird-net.
