In which cases does netbird assign a new IP address to a connected peer?

For my use case i need a really stable IP address beyond reboots and/or service restarts.
Can someone explain how netbird assigns IP addresses and what needs to be done to always recieve the same IP adderess?

You will have a static IP unless you cleanup the config folder which is under the /etc/netbird folder. Or C:\Program Data\Netbird on windows. The IP will stay the same across reboots and restarts.
