Why can't we use simple LDAP against a local AD?

Have you looked into self-hosting an IdP that supports auth via LDAP, e.g. Keycloak, Zitadel?

Just a small inquiry, if there's any interest in this from maintainers. I'm mostly asking because I'm actually running a patched netbird with OpenLDAP+Dex and could make a PR if there is.
