TLDR: ZSH utilizes 'PERIOD' environmental variable for a builtin function. Bad name for this variable if running the bare binary on the host

  1. Is this urgent: No, but a warning about using this variable with ZSH might lead to fewer headaches for users on ZSH vs. BASH/SH
  2. DNS provider(s) you use: irrelevant, but porkbun!
  3. Program version:
    This bug is about the documentation more than the latest compiled version.
